Preparation

  • In the pan (recommended)
    For best results: fry until brown on all sides for 6-8 minutes in a frying pan with plenty of oil or plant-based butter/margarine.
  • Frying
    Deep-fry for 2–4 minutes in vegetable frying fat at 180 °C.
  • In the oven
    bake for 13–15 minutes at 220 °C (convection oven: 200 °C). Preferably with 10% steam.
  • In the Air fryer
    bake for 15 minutes at 180 °C. Don’t forget to turn them regularly.

Vegan Fish Stick Party Snacks

Bake the Vegan Fisherman Fish Sticks exactly as you love them. In the meantime, grill some cut zucchini strips (lengthwise) in a pan, oven, or (table) grill. Pro-tip: coat them with olive oil mixed with spices for an extra flavour dimension!

Once the Fish Sticks are ready, wrap them in the freshly grilled zucchini strips. Then, first insert a flag or another fun food pick through a juicy cherry tomato, and then through the rest of your beautiful creation to keep it together. A curl of fermented vegetables, pickled onion, or kimchi on top transforms this snack into haute cuisine. Serve it while it’s hot!
