Preparation
- In the pan (recommended)
For best results: fry until brown on all sides for 6-8 minutes in a frying pan with plenty of oil or plant-based butter/margarine. - Frying
Deep-fry for 2–4 minutes in vegetable frying fat at 180 °C. - In the oven
bake for 13–15 minutes at 220 °C (convection oven: 200 °C). Preferably with 10% steam. - In the Air fryer
bake for 15 minutes at 180 °C. Don’t forget to turn them regularly.
Fill up half of a pita bread bun with Lebanese fattoush salad, mint, lemon juice, and sumac, and fill up the rest of the bun with the crispy Vegan Fisherman fish nuggets. A paprika-tomato-topping with fried onions turns this godly, vegan pita into a true piece of art!
